GulfstreamBeijingsmNovember 29, 2012 — Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has announced that it has officially opened its aircraft service center in Beijing "Gulfstream Beijing" after recently being approved as a Part 145 maintenance facility by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). The certification authorizes the facilities technicians the to work on aircraft registered in China.

November 27, 2012 — Cessna Aircraft Company has entered into another  joint business agreement with China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Company Ltd., (CAIGA) they previously announced a strategic alliance to assemble and sell Citation XLS+ jets in China.

CAIGA 150China Aviation industry General aircraft Co., Ltd. (CAIGA) has selected GE Aviation's new H85 turboprop engine to power CAIGA's Primus 150 aircraft, the 150 is a five-seat business aircraft, slated to become the first business aircraft built in China. This will be the first application for the H85 turboprop engine, which is currently awaiting certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

This week, Airbus and Boeing have held their press conference, predicting that each of them will sell over 5 business jets to China each year, while Bombardier also showed that over the next 10 years, total sales of business jets in China will reach over 600 units.
