This weekend the Women in Corporate Aviation will be hosting a booth in the sunny south of France at the 6th International Exhibition of General Aviation in Cannes. Members Kristina Tervo and Valerie Langford will be at the Cannes-Mandelieu Airport´s stand, representing the WCA in Southern Europe’s only general aviation exhibition. The Cannes Airshow describes itself as a show “designed for pilots, owners, enthusiasts and professionals in general aviation from all over Europe.”
Last month, light business aircraft filled the airspace above the French Riviera en route to the well-known film Cannes film festival. Numerous planes with celebrities and creators of cinema resided in nearby runways. The FFA’s Kevin Dupuch will discuss ways to organize a trip by light aircraft in another information session during the conference. Business aircraft charters and brokers are integral in this process in all parts of the globe.
This event is billed to be one of the best trade shows in the aviation industry and will bring exhibitors together in one place to offer the latest and most innovative designs in aviation.
In addition to light aircraft, there will be a wide range of the aviation industry represented. Transcontinental jets, kit aircraft, helicopters and turboprops are all expected at the show. The exhibition will be open from Thursday June 7th to Saturday, June 9th at the International Airport of Cannes-Mandelieu (LFMD). Be sure to drop by and say, ‘bonjour’ to Kristina and Valerie at the WCA stand!
